Pedal adjustment would be the first move. Second look inside the inspection hole in the tranny to inspect the pressure plate. AT least you're not alone with your problems. Check out my thread.

it drives fine, i just cant get the damn stick into gears!
I had the exact same thing happen to me about a year ago. It was my throwout bearing. If you HAVE TO drive the car somewhere to work on it, you can float the gears without using the clutch, it's tricky in a car, but you can do it. Your tach is your friend when doing this. As for stopping and getting going again, well you've already got that figured out.

i checked bushings
they are fine

9sec240
i start the car in 1st, as i turn the key, the car is already moving as the car cranks up, a few cranks of turning the key , itll just catch and i drive normal, but then i have to pray that i can shift into 2nd and 3rd.
USUALLY THOUGH...
when i start the car in 2nd, i can force it into 3rd,4th, then 5th.
but sometimes i get stuck in one of those gears n just have to drive like that. OR i try to shift from one to the other, and get stuck in neutral, forcing me to turn off the car and start car in 2nd again lol

going to take it to a shop for free estimate, hopfully its just a throwout bearing or something

also, im looking at pressure plates, CLUTCH + PRESSURE PLATE kit is 300, but JUST THE PRESSURE PLATe = 450
WTH?

thanks for helping me out and any more help is greatly appreciated!

there is a round rubber plug on the bottom of the bellhousing right next to the front motor mount, if you take that out, maybe with a flashlight and have somebody else to spin the crank by hand, you might be able to see the pressure plate arms. If one has cracked or broken you will definatly be able to tell.

pedal adjustment, clutch slave or master cylinder could be on the way out, this same scenario happened with my prelude!

ok THIS GETS EVEN MORE INTERESTING!

now ok, car wouldnt go in gear n everything, thats old news
yesterday, i was about 2 take it to the shop to get this checked out

i put the car in 1st gear, then start the car, does fine
as im goin, i usually have to power shift by using techometer
but this time, car went back to normal?!?!
wth
it no longer got stuck in neutral, i could shift fine and clutch went in n grabbed n everything

ONE NOTE:
the clutch was slipping a bit, and was not grabbing as hard as it was before the incident but still grabbed

i still took it to the shop n left it there for them 2 check out, i couldnt do it myself i had to go back to school 2 hours away, better safe than sorry

theres so many tings it can be, but because it went back to normal, im thinking synchros? hope the new event helps narrow it down!

thanx 4 the help guys

pedal adjustment first. if you need to drive it, try pumping the clutch if it is air or MC leak it will allow you to shift-like double declutching!
