I put regular light weight pully(no damping). and I did not feel anything. My bearings are the only thing that feels this. I am testing how fast I can destroy my engine with this light weight pully. So far, it has been lasting 2 years.
at first I thought you are doing something w/out knowing it's penalty, but then I realized you know the what you are doing. Are you looking to rebuild the engine soon?

anyone with fluldampr on stock motore please share...

anyone else has fluidampr on their stock engine, please share your experience with it. I am debating whether I should keep or sell mine.

put it on, it can only help

ask yourself this: what is cheaper? a fluidampr or an engine rebuild cause you spun a bearing?

im not saying that you will spin a bearing w/o the damper

Haha I forgot about this...

But yes Fugiwara it works fine.

That being said it will not help you if your entire rotating assembly is not balanced.

When I built the motor I had the flywheel, crank and dampener balanced as a unit. This in turn saves the rotating group from the inherent vibration caused by Engine harmonics. Net result is engine bearings lasting longer on by build.
