I raised the idle some and it seems fairly solid, only issue is the vacuum is very low and quick clutch in and the car wants to stall but I am working with Mellon on that.

Thanks Looks like these will produce some nice power my AFR has gone from 11.2 (HKS 272) to 12.8 (BF 272) so we will be tuning that next.

Excellent! Keep us posted... I'm interested to see how this turns out to run for you.... I know those are designed to be installed on stock gears (straight up) but I am wondering if the stock ecu would like them better with a bit of cam timing adjustment

Working on the tune. We have added GOBS!! of fuel to maintain 11.5afr right off the bat is was around 12.8afr. I believe my balance shaft is out and I have to get that issue solved first.

 

That thing sounds b!tchin'..........you could install a vacuum canister to solve the low vacuum issue. It's a pretty common problem with engines & agressive cams run on the street with high-overlap & long duration .

Sounds nice. Sorta sounds like Hks 280s like someone above mentioned. Hopefully you get the tune right, i'm currently eyeing these cams myself for my next setup.

 

I have the idle high just becasue that is the way I like it. Another amazing thing is my car used to sound like a fart rocket with my old cams and with these it does not so I will be taking my bullet muffler out of there!

 

I wonder if it'll be worth it to swap out my HKS 280's for these BF 272's??

 

I am not really sure... Buschur said if you have Tomie or Jun cams you would not see much from his so I assume yes it might be worth it.
