^^+1 Everyone doesnt want to build the bottom end or run meth. Most ppl will stay on pump 99% of the time and ONLY run race gas every now and then at the track. PLUS if u want to upgrade the 35R will bolt up the same. i think the reg 30R's make low 400 on pump. Somewhere in the 500's on race gas. Hell and if u do decide to build the motor and keep the hta30r it will still be a beast. i can prove it....

Damn I forgot about this thread!! So this may be my ticket. It's not like I can't bolt-on a 35r later

I totally agree. That's why I also have my eye on that turbo or the new green or red that may be coming (those are my top choices). And yes, 400 WHP can be achieved on the green but not easily, esp. on pump.

On the 20glt with pump and stock ecu Mellon made just over 400 in DLL.

He now is running the HTA35r on pump and is making 500+ in DLL.

His story is well documented in the service/review section on this site.

The hta35r lag is overrated. I have ridden with him in traffic and it feels very close to me on stock turbo.

Hopefully next week we will have track times for his hta35r on pump setup.

i am in the same boat and can't decide...

also i have an evo 9 ...so if you that 4th gear is going to be a ***** on a bigger turbo..

i am prob going to do an evo 8 4th gear for now till i decide on a turbo..

the green would be ok...but i hate the fact that at like 80 mph in 5th in my car ,my turbo starts to spool and suck gas

i want a little lag..
