272's or 280's or mix
Ok, I think I have read almost every available thread on here about cams. Here is my dilemma. My evo VIII is my DD. I am going to go with Brian Cower cams but I just don't know whether to go with 272's or 280's or mix. All I do is Drag race with an occasional street race (without exceeding the speed limit or accelerating to fast). I just don't want to ruin my DD. What are your guys opinions?
Here is my list of mods if it helps you:
UICP
LICP
FMIC
Greddy Profec B Spec II
TBE
Evo IX turbo (installing with cams)
Exhause manifold (installing with cams)
SS O2 housing (Installing with cams)
Walbro 255 (installing with cams)
Denso 680's (installing with cams)
Exedy twin disk (installing with cams)
Sheps Tranny rebuild (installing with cams)

I have buddy club 272/280 and love them. They are close to hks cams. I run adj. cam gears w/ these and they sound mean and pull great and Im running them on a stock turbo too. Theoretically w/ a mixed setup you would be able to make peak power longer up top while still having great idle and not lose anything down low too.
