MBC hose size and spool/taper
MBC hose size and spool/taper
I have the Forge MBC, and the vacuum ports are quite a bit bigger than the stock hoses and therefore the ports on the turbo/wastegate...
I'm interested to find out if this is made this way on purpose for the pressure in those hoses... I did not know the extent of the effect the restriction or lack of has on spool and taper until I read up on the stock boost control and different "pill" sizes... I of course removed all that and ran larger hoses to a "t" with one port capped and the other going to the turbo, (the "T"'s are all that I could find at the store to step the size down of the hose) Does anyone know if running the larger vacuum hose to my boost controller rather than trying to stretch (resulted in ripped hose) the stock size lines over the ports on the Forge will hurt the response of the turbo?
