Do upgraded cams change

Do upgraded cams change comperrsion test numers?? The reason I ask is I'm checking my buddys comperrsion right now.. and the numbers are low from before stock cams..

No, they should not! The valves should still seal 100% of the way, so if you *just* did the cam install, something is wrong!

The valves should be sealed.
