Thanks
as mentioned before, im a big fan of the S2 cams with the GSC beehive springs....

we can source them for you, or you can order them direct from GSC. I believe they may be out of stock...

BBK lite-lite with S1's and revolver springs/retainers here and it's oh so good May play with S2's in the future but who knows. Can't wait to start hearing more people's opinions!

Chad, IYO, do the GSC S2 grinds work equally well on the IX's and the VIII motors?

So you just recommend the springs with stock retainers or go with Ti retainers also?

you can run the S2's with stock retainers...

we are going to try to get a set of S1's in calebs car (that did 377 on stock cams at 29psi on 93, and 356 at 26.8 psi) to see what the gains with the BBK already on the car...

the S2's dont leave much out AT ALL in the midrange to the S1, and still make some better gains up top... if you can afford the labor in the spring install, do the S2's with springs.

chad pretty much says it right.

the S2 really needs to be on an upgraded spring and that requires more money for install and the cost of the springs. if your willing to invest the money you will see more power. the S1 cams are designed with the stock spring in mind.

the S1 will idle like stock where the S2 needs a little more tuning to get a smooth idle...

I loved the S1 and love my S2 now with the BBK lite. The only reason i switched to S2 is since i was doing the BR head and everything was coming out anyway mine as well swap out the cams too. Like chad mentioned. The low end lose was very very minimal. It wasnt noticeable at all.

I am super stoked for Wednesday. Obviously chad knows but for everyone else, we are swapping the BBK lite for the full version on Wednesday. Cant wait to see what the full version does with my set up. I am so anxious

Time to see the head scratching pays off Believe me it has I couldn't have asked for a better outcome so far. Regardless i am happy. The car is making more than I thought it would be at this point. To me anything more I get from the turbine will just be a bonus
