PPI Ported Exhaust manifold. Extreme Porting or Regular

$65 for regular
$130 for the extreme porting.

Is it worth the extra dough for the extreme? I already have a o2 housing waiting to be installed. I'm getting the 10.5 hotside to supplement the o2 housing. So do you guys think extreme porting is worth it imho.

Thanks for any input

so. is it worth it to pay the xtra cash and go all out with the extreme porting or use that money to get the 10.5 hotside ported?

Well, I can't provide "real data" but I remember a thread where Dave Buschur stated that it's important to have all three exhaust related parts of the turbo the same (exhaust manifold, hotside, and o2 housing). If you have one part ported or modified, you're only going to see decent gain with the other parts ported/modified. I'd spend the extra money on getting the hotside ported/coated to compliment the other two.

" To everyone on EvoM I was going to do my own exhaust manifold, hot side mods, and build a stainless o2, let me tell you it would have been a big waste of my time. David said they would be good to go and he was right. Somethings are better left alone and I figured I could always touch the parts up if they needed it, well they don't, they will be installed as is. " Buy Buschur do it right the first time. 195.00 ported, coated and proven on 9sec9's Baby Bish 10.60's @ 430+whp

i don't care for the coating, i'll just keep my heatshield...
I guess i'll just get the basic porting and have my 10.5 hotside ported also. I don't plan on running the stock setup forever...

Internally Ported and Swaintech Coated Manifold : Then use a nice heatshield. That's my plan.

If you plan on running high boost or the FP Green, get the extreme. Do it once and do it right.

My extreme PPI ported stuff has taken my stock cam FP green to 11.8 @ 120 on pump gas, with a ****ty 1.75 sec launch!

I am running about 30psi on the stocker now. Minus cams...gonna dyno tomorrow for a baseline, then send out my stuff for porting. I will compare the gains w/ the o2 housing,10.5hs, ported exhaust manifold vs stock 9.8,o2,exhst mani.

Got off the dyno about 3 hours ago. Made 353whp/348trq. Stock o2, 9.8hs, stock exhst mani, stock cams.

Will post graph and update thread once I get the exhaust mani, o2 housing, and 10.5 hs installed.
