What Intake for the 35R?

So I'll be ordering my HTA35R but I want to make sure I have everything I need. I've ordered the Upper Intercooler Pipe w/Recirculation Tube and a Mini Battery Kit from ETS. I'm also ordering injectors, not sure what size yet. My intake is what concerns me. I have the HKS Rs Intake on my stocker right now. I haven't seen an intake specifically for a bigger turbo on any of the sites I go to. Somebody help me out please.

I didn't know that it was part of the kit. Excuse my ignorance for there is much for me to learn. I never noticed one in the picture of their kits. I'll check again.

either way it will work if you get a 4" to 3" reducer to connect your turbo to the HKS intake. its more restrictive but so is the stock maf lol best way is go standalone speed density and 4" intake pipe but idk if thats in your budget

I want to do my best to avoid a standalone system as a daily driver and I don't know much about all this "MAFTPRO" and "Maf" translator stuff either. It's hard somtimes to sift through all of the crap on the forum to find good info.

i think the hks intake is less restrictive than a regular intake filter cuz the foam filter is very thin. so i think its a better intake for the 35r.

MAFT pro is a great system my buddies with vr4's run them with great success. BUT very soon the ECU guru's on here are gonna make the speed density on stock ecu finalized. thats wat im wating for. you will still make great power with MAF dont worry especially with that setup

thanks for the info, one of the guys made a good point about already having the restrictive MAF so in due time I'll upgrade all the restrictions. I just don't want the headaches of the AEM, or the empty pockets from an F-CON V Pro just to get rid of the MAF.

The ETS equal length Mani kit comes with the intake and since Tom would warn againist going TS wihtout using the equal length, then my guess is that this is the kit you bought. Hence you likely have an intake coming...check with ETS of course though
