Lag is completly way overrated. I had a 2.3ltr w/hta35r, and it drove perfect on the street. Just as good as my AMS3076R kit. I had 1000cc inj using my flashed stock ECU with MAF-T(speed density mode). The car drove really good on the street, and so does my firends 2.0l w/ a standard GT35R.

I think Tom is right...

The ideal setup would be a 2.3L with a 50trim it would be smack in the midle of its efficency range... This set-ups not going to even break a sweat.

Every one keeps saying go green go green but without considering the implications on this guys specific set-up & needs.

- The hotside on the green is small and the boost levels needed to generate the same power as 2.3L & 50trim
- Will be more than 22psi
- Back pressure will be high
- It will generate lots of heat
- Det will become a problem

He only wants to use 91oct fuel....

Good point - one must also consider the future potential of the set-up:
- Today I might want to run 400HP on my chosen 35 hta setup to go to the shops
- But tomorrow I might run 650HP on VP Import for the dragstrip

...

Down to two turbo im thinking about getting but have some questions

AMS 2.3 Stoker with one of these

AMS 50 Trim
AMS 30R

ON 91 Octane
how fast is 0-60 with these 2 turbo
When does it spool with the 2.3 stroker
max power on 91 oct

ON 91 Octane with meth
how fast is 0-60 with these 2 turbo
When does it spool with the 2.3 stroker
max power

ON Race Gas
how fast is 0-60 with these 2 turbo
When does it spool with the 2.3 stroker
max power

thanks

go with the 30R, you'll have a little more potential and the lag shouldn't be a problem at all with the stroker. you could spend the extra couple hundred on the HTA 3076 as well if you want, AMS offers HTA too
