So as the title states whats the longevity of the ACT HDSS that so many Evo rides are pushin...?

Plus could you add in what all has been tossed at it, such as launches, track use, HP/TQ numbers, etc...

And I know, I should get an Exedy Twin or some other clutch, but thats another topic...

well i got about 10k out of mine..getting twin disc installed this week

 

How was it driven? Did you get more mods or what, it really doesnt say much with your statement...

 

i had the act clutch for well over 60k miles and it's fine. Plus the replacement disc are around $150.
i have what's equivalent to buschur's stage 4 with ems and methanol.
I don't drive aggressively though, ie don't launch at every light.
It's my daily driver so i try not to beat on it.
I always recommend act clutch unless you have anything bigger the gt30r on your car where the tq is too much for the act.

Still runnin my ACT at 17k, no problems. And I drive it pretty hard at times.

 

I got 25K out of mine and I did 150+ launches on it....mods are in Sig. Im going to the 6 puck sprung

 

i have about 20k on mine, no problems at all with it grabbing, but it is less smooth than my old exedy td

 

I got close to 30k on mine so far. It's never seen less than the power listed in my sig, but has definitely seen more. Somewhere around 50 launches, 20-30 auto-x's, mountain runs, hard driving, etc. I am more than happy with it.

 

how much life expectancy is loss if your having to slip the clutch twice a day to go up a driveway on an incline?

 

70-72k, 400+ launches, dozens of AX and track days, 340/330 DLL HP on my old Evo.
