I just discovered today that the turbo on my 05 Evo 8 is completely shot. I started having problems with no boost after hearing what sounded like a hose blowing loose. I checked all the hoses and didn't see any evidence of a hose being disconnected or any holes in the IC piping. or any clamps loose. I decided to investigate further to find that my turbo was damaged. It was making a really strange high pitch moan, and sounded more like I had a supercharged Evo rather than a turbo charged Evo. Anyhow, I am in the market for a new turbo so if anyone knows of anyone that is selling a turbo send them my way. I would prefer going with something besides the stock 8 turbo since I am going to be doing the work down there anyway, but I would like to hear of anything that could be bolted on. I would prefer the Evo 9 turbo or any type of FP Evo 9 turbo upgrade. I would be interested in new or used, as long as the used is in good condition. Thanks for any help.
