How many months before the Buschur 93 octane record is broken?

By someone other than Buschur Racing.

Referring to track time not dyno number.

In less than 2 weeks it will be reset by Buschur, then we will see how long it takes.

to me this is the true 93 octane record.. Anybody can make a 1 gear pull on a dyno and make a #.. not many can go thru 4 gears for 6 or more passes and run 140+mph..

well 1st off there is alot more load on the car going down the track. In high gear your air intake temps are going to be much higher than if you just make a 1 gear pull.. Ill guarantee there are many pump gas cars that pull clean on the dyno and cant make it down the track..

Oops sorry I was'nt referring to your post. It was for the thread starter, I was asking what difference does it make in how long a record will be broken?

It doesn't make any difference ultimately...

It's just like watching Formula 1... fun to watch good competition.

Damn it, I didn't read the first post and I voted it would be broken within 3 months. I'd like to retract my vote as I say that the record will not be broken by someone other than us on a GT35r or smaller turbo. Yes, if someone puts their GT42r on pump gas it should surely go quicker/faster than the current record.

We will break our current record within 2 weeks as long as I get my intake from Indy EVO (no pressure there Indy, haha) and I finish up my other few tests I have left. The car IS going to go 9's on 93 octane.

LOL

So would you vote never?

I guess I should have made the poll more clear. As in roughly GT35R sized turbo and not broken by Buschur themselves. Oh well.

Yeah, the poll topic is one thing and then you have a stipulation in the first post.

I don't know what I would have voted but I sure as hell wouldn't have voted less than 3 months by someone other than us. The next time that record gets broken, my prediction is it will be by my car again.

I voted never. Dave is so far ahead of everyone else in this record I think Jesus will come back before someone else breaks the record. In the meantime David or one of his customers cars will just keep beating it.
