E85 Evo Green best e.t 11.3 best mph 123

First and foremost, I want to extend my thanks to my good friend evileagle...he urged me to run the car and offered to tune it and I was MORE than happy with the results. Part throttle, wot, idle, even the exhaust note sounds ****....awesome work Jake! Last year my previous best was 11.5@119.97 tuned on 110 octan and 93 pump mix. Well today, I cracked an 11.3 with a very mediocore 60ft (1.77) and hit a best mph of 123. Heres the set up

2005 Evo GSR/ 3460lbs w/driver 72,500 miles (car is driven 120 miles a day)
boost was 23 psi falling to 21 (cant get it higher for some reason) AEM reading.
Sinclair E85 (Corn Holed!)
Evo Green w/ FP 18psi wga
272/272 HKS cams
AEM EMS
Hallman MBC
3 inch BR tbe
dejon upper ic pipe w/ tial bov
1 gen talon coil pack (amazing how well this thing works!)
SLBR (Garret core) fmic with 2.5 inc licp

The kicker is I let off towrds the end of the track (1200ft or so) cuz I was trying to avoid breaking 11.50 and getting the boot because of no cage lol...need to get one of those soon! I think the car, with motor mounts, some suspension work, and getting the boost up (and fixing my leaky head gasket) could very well run a ten second pass...all on the stock motor, unported stock intake mani and unported stock exhaust mani....I have never once regretted buying this car I gotta say. What a blast to drive EVERYDAY...and it sees wot everyday of its life lol. Thanks for reading

It was a pleasure tuning on the car yesterday and the night before Tony. I was excited to see that 11.3 come up on the board when you crossed through the traps. Good driving bud!! And thanks for the props man.

I feel with the stock motor and your setup you have will go into the 10's on e85 if we can get the boost up more. Might have to change your waste gate actuator and see if that works. BTW, call me. I left my morroso tire pressure gauge in your car last night. I need that back!! lol.

^^Yeah I'm amazed with what the stock motor can handle on Tony's evo. Since the day he bought that car with 500 miles it has seen WOT every day of it's life. Thing shifts like butter, runs great, doesn't burn any oil ect. I can't wait till Tony steps up to a HTA 35r. That car will move for sure!

That focker rips for minimal mods.... but I'm guessing your boost gauge is off!

Boost was logged via AEM EMS using a AEM 3.5bar map sensor.

Screen shot of the boost. It spiked 23lbs And it held 21lbs by 7600rpm.

And by redline

Knock volts on this pass looked really good, I'm loving the E85 more and more every day

I think we have allot more left in it for the next trip out after reviewing the logs. Tony did one hell of a job driving that car big props to him for the driving skills!

Yeah I drove the **** out of it....the launch could use some work but with that low of boost, and that many miles, I am beyond happy with this ****....its all in the tune Thanks for posting the log...I knew someone would doubt the boost level...and not that it really matters fellas but we are at 3000ft + elevation

Also, an intake many, tb, ported exhaust mani would help out but even without these parts, it is bound to get faster. This all on 17x8.5 enkei rpf1s with 255 Federal all seasons at a cost of $452 lol

Great time & speed, congrats I'd like to see race gas & dyno results.

That seems a bit excessive, even for a DynoJet.

My personal IX on stock cams and pump gas made 350whp on a Mustang and trapped 120mph. I would estimate I'm making 385whp DynoJet and the OP to be making about 425whp Dynojet.

I really dont want to speculate on dyno numbers but I beat a 487whp and 525ft lb srt4 with a 50 trim and damn good driver from a 40 roll to whatever speed he felt like going to...by like 3-4 cars. This car in its current set up WILL trap 125 I am sure of it. Yes it would be interesting to see what some q16 or c16 could yield on this baby.!
