Ordered Works bushings myself, got a bit worried when I heard that all metal ones had the chance of damaging the rest of the shifter assembly. Any of you with the Buschur bushings having any issues with those over time?

I have been using mine for months now and have not had a single issue. In fact, I wish I would have done it sooner because I am now able to engage second gear better when down shifting compared to the stock ones... I recommend getting anti seize so that way they wont squeak. Happen to me 2 days after I installed them, but I put anti seize on them and it went away... Rock solid after that, and took my not mechanical *** 2 minutes to install it...

Yeah I only have underhood ones. I may do shifter console ones whenever I do a short shifter.

LilRico is right: Anti-seize is great stuff. They sell it at any auto part place for less than than a dollar for a small packet. Look in the sparkplug section.

i had underhood shifter bushings and it made my car very hard to get into 1st gear and even harder to get into reverse. yes they were well lubed and installed correctly, so that wasnt the problem.... am i the only one that hated the bushings?

as soon as i put the stock ones in, the car was perfect again

^^^^^^^^^^^^^Did you adjust your clutch pedal at all? I had the same problem and I thought it was my bushings, but after I readjusted the clutch pedal so that it was higher up the problem went away.
