Well heres my deal, I have a water temp gauge too. I got the ETS SS upper radiator hose with their temp bung welded on and I have yet to have it work correctly. not to slam them but it could be my gauge.

I just bought all new gauges and I am getting that part where you actaully cut the radiator hose and put this coupler and then plug in the sensor the gauge comes with. So check back with me in a few weeks. my gauges should be here this sat and then go in a few weeks later. so check back with me.

Not from Defi so I'm not sure if it would fit the sender, but it does say where they recommend putting the adapter in the car.

Try putting a good ground to the sensor and see if it works. If the SS pipe is isolated by couplers, it will not be grounded. Often these sensors need the piece that they are screwed into to be grounded.

I have the 42 draft designs water temp adapter as well as the oil pressure and oil temp adapters for the Defi gauges. No problems so far.

I'm a huge fan of 42draftdesigns products and the fact that they sell stewart warner gauges is a plus haha

was there any kind of gasket that you had to replace when you installed your 42 draft design housing???

I'm trying to order it ahead of time if there is...
