FYI you can pull the engine and transmission at one time. i know cause i just did it. all you need is an engine load leveler.

good luck with your build

I don't even know what an engine load leveler is, but for my purposes I needed to take the trans off in the garage anyway.

Cool info though, thanks.

Have about 3 ppl there to help you, its a close fit but it works. Saved us a bunch of time. Have it at a big angle with the trans pointing straight down.

Quote: No I'm not going to build up my TC, not until it fails anyway, plenty of people have gone 10s on the stockers, and I completely disagree about the driveline being made of glass.

i just figured if you were going thru all that work, you might as well build it up. i would do a built xfercase + trans just for peace of mind. i have a 12sec car & split my t-case on Pass Time!!! my built trans & Tilton Twin held up tho...

No offense but with those mods it should hold up.

Ive made 70+ 500whp passes on stock trans/tcase.

I've probably made that on my TC....I blew the trans 2 years ago letting the car wheel hop out of the hole.

Evocrazy I see we are going with the same cams heh, what cams were in the car when you had it tuned?

i just figured if u pull it out, why not build it up? don't 1/2azz like alot of ppl when they build their cars up. do it right the 1st time & u won't have issues later.

what they didn't show everyone on Pass Time is they had me do a burnout b4 lining up to run. since i already use Advan A032R's, they stuck on the launch, everything else turned splitting case in 2 places + blowing pass side axle seal...
