(MELT-AGE) PULSTAR PLUGS you've NEVER SEEN BEFORE Guaranteed
i would send in those pics with your story to a couple of the import magazines ie import tuner and modified mag just to see what theyll say because i know ive seen ads for these plugs in both of those mags...
so just a quick thought, what if the whole problem is that the car needs to be tuned differently to run on these plugs?
I've had experience with playing with ignition timing and boxes on other motors, and it doesn't take much for too much spark and bad timing to mess an engine as soon as you start it up. Blew a ring/cracked a piston on a small block chevy with an ignition module back in the day, all it took was a moderate spark setting and a set of rings not up for the challenge.
I'm thinking if this is a problem with the timing (pre-combustion/detonation) that the car needs to be retuned after installing these plugs if they were to be used at all. Which to me is a PITA. For $25 a pop for the plugs, but dyno and tuning costs just to get another POTENTIAL 10hp, not worth it.
