One thing I haven't seen anyone mention is the imapct marks on the other plugs with intact ground straps. What caused those marks? Is the installed ground strap height the same as the stock NGKs? I would take a stock plug and a Pulstar with intact ground strap and install them in the same hole while taking depth measurements to determine how far they protrude into the chamber. Also how deep is the porcelain before it touches the plug wall for heat transfer compared to the stockers?

You guys are horrible at diagnosing things. There is no way a burned off plug strap can cause the valve to chip like that. The valve may be chipped as you see it but it was from being overheated just like the electrode straps. Nothing hit the valve. Thats just plain poor diagnosis. If something hits the valve the valve stem bends. End of poor comments I hope. Please do some reading on what pre-ignition is and what effect it has on parts in the cylinder. this damage is CLEARLY from pre-ignition. the plugs obviously the wrong heat range.

That thing is melted and odds are all the other valves were exposed to the same temps fatiguing them as well.

I truly believe my valve did not melt, i would be able to see it if it was melted there perfectly chips no signs of melted edges, on them but i can be wrong but from my eyes they seem too be legit chips on the valve

my thought is the Ground strap melted obviosly, the electrode broke into pieces due to heat fell into my combustion chamber and took out my exhaust valve. Am i making sense or am i way off?!?!?

Pulstar is complete and and utter junk. I have seen them melt with less than 10 miles on a 250whp nitrous honda. Just stick to whats proven...NGK or Denso.
