transmission trouble

transmission trouble

has anyone heard of snapping a clutch cable with only 30000 miles on an 04 evo. i was haveing a hard time shifting time shifting now i onlt have third and fourth gear. i had the tranny fluid changed last week. if anybody can help me id appreciate it

it wont go into gear? It grinds...locks out....what?


You could check the linkage I guess if you somehow think it's the cable (which I doubt), it's underneath your battery tray kind of.

**** I don't know man......Go look at the linkage and the hydraulic cylinder that pushes the clutch fork, other then that there's not much you can look at from outside of the trans without taking it apart.

i checked the linkange and when imove the the stick will move. but when i was driving it i would put it into gear and be able to move the stick like it was i neutral

It's in the trans man, you might have broken gears or something, maybe the clutch fork, I just don't know I know hardly anything about transmissions.
