Another pump gas monster 35r evo awakes

Just recently got done with a customers 2003 evo 8 with these mods

JMtuning built 2.0L
CP pistons 8.8cr
eagle rods
eagle crank
stock balance shafts
stock unported head
stock ignition
FP 270+ cams
Shearer Fab GT35r turbo kit
Tial BOV
Tial 38mm wastegate
Hallman MBC
AMS intake manifold
AMS IC piping
Buschur Racing FMIC
3" TBE
75mm acufab TB
950cc injectors
walbro 255
ACT 2900 with street disc
English Racing street built transmission
AEM EMS
Full weight Daily driver weekend warrior with A/C and with a full stereo system as well.

Right now the car is on pump gas 93 octane at 21lbs of boost logged via AEM logs. I'm in shock how quick this thing is at only 21lbs. The spool is absolutely ridiculously fast. It's basically an on/off switch feeling. This car just flat out rips and is so much fun to drive, almost too much fun to drive if you ask me
We are going to toss c16 in her tonight and tune 30+lbs for ***** and giggles. We should be running it at our local track very soon, I will update tomorrow about the c16 pulls we will do tonight..

Here is a video of the car on pump gas.
Enjoy!

It's just a mild setup, and for daily driver the 270+ cams do well. Not to mention the 270+ cams where bought last year for the car for a basic stock turbo setup. We ended up changing allot of things and allot of plans on the car.

In time we will step it up to the fp4r's But for now the 270+cams do very well with the stock valve springs. The fp4r's won't work very well with the stock valve springs at over 8500rpm. Right now we are spinning it up to 9000rpm without any float with the 270+cams and the factory springs.

We did some tuning tonight at 30lbs and 33lbs. Man what a fun car! It's a bit tough to keep off the 9000rpm rev limiter in 1st and 2nd gear. This thing just wants to keep pulling and pulling.

Car is making very good power, pretty much enough to damn near max out the 950cc injectors already. Time to step up to the 1200cc injectors. We are seeing 97% IDC at 33lbs with c16 at 12.0-11.8 A/F. It wouldn't hurt to add the inline pump and a AFPR.
The fuel curve on the AEM is one of the smoothest I have tuned to date. This car is very nice to tune and takes very well to every adjustment I make. I'm beginning to really love this car lol

What makes this a pump gas monster 35r?

I thought a pump gas monster would be something like this :

1. twin pump
2. upgraded COP
3. ported everything
4. makes 500+whp on BR dyno @28-29psi on straight 93

Nice set up though

No clue. We don't have an AWD dyno local to us. Only thing we can go off of is ET and MPH over here I'm not so concerned about dyno numbers like everyone else is these days. We just put it together, street tune it, and have fun
