Revolver Cams

I really like the way these things sound..... anyone have experience with them? Bushcur's staged kits comes with hks so they must make pretty good gains but, it seems there is alot less people running revolvers. if someone has had experience with these i was wondering how they like em and if the gains are good. also how the valve train has held up. any other info would be cool too.

also anyone know where i can order a shop manual for my IX?

Let you know in 2 weeks. There are no IX grinds however.

Yeah, revolver is long gone. Surprised the website still exists. Finding them can be a PITA.

I lost 60 hp according to DataLogLab after switching to the Revolver cams. They do sound pretty awesome, but made my car incredibly slow.

My friend runs revolvers... when we put them in he was putting in a new built long block. We degreed the cams and found that if I recall, the intake cam was over 20 crank degrees off from revolvers spec. To get it to spec he had to move the intake cam about 11 cam degrees over. The motor has run excellent. He runs 11.9 on pump and 11.6 on race with like 1.9 60 fts. He is on an Evo Green and his car been running almost a year.

This could be why someone might find power loss... the cam was just way out of spec.

If you search "dialing in cams with degree wheel" you should find the thread which goes into detail.

You may be the only one that happened to....Buschur made like 20whp and 50lbs of torque more with the revolvers than the hks 280's.

I love mine, and they seem to make great power. Buschur loved them before he came out with his own grind, so that says enough for me. He even had them in is RS for a while.

i'm in the process of setting up some revolvers with the stock ecu. car has to idle very high to keep running though... its idling at 1100rpm. i think i'm going to check the cam spec with a degree wheel though as that sounds like something that could be fishy. i know i had to set the adjustable cams to -4/-4 to even get the thing to start.... when they were on a buschur built/tuned 35r car before i put them in the car i'm working on now, the car idled very high as well... around 1100rpm but with no adjustable gears.
