Hey, so I bought the Forge DV recently off a member of the forum and I put it in this morning. I gave it a few revs while idle and everything sounded fine, looks fine...not rocket science to replace a DV. But as soon as I put any kind of load on it whether shifting at low or high RPMs the thing flutters like crazy. I checked everything, got new vacuum caps for the intake, new vacuum hose connecting to the DV, removed and replaced all clamps (needed to be done anyways) and made sure everything was nice and tight. Any ideas? I had heard the Forge DV have this problem occasionally, any fix? Thanks in advance!

I believe its a known issue. There was a thread about installing it backward to reduce the flutter.

interesting, i'll give it a try, kinda surprised after three years they haven't found a better solution...

 

still fluttering anyone have any other ideas aside from reverse orientation?
