I just wanted to let you all know that we got in our new inline boost controller that we will be offering. We will still be selling the current one along with this for those that want a custom application.

This boost controller is the same technology and basic design as our standard inline boost controller but with a little twist.

With this version we went ahead and drilled and tapped with ends for 1/8" NPT fittings. Doing this will allow you to set the controller up for your specific application wether you need 90's, 45's, straight's, etc.... we will be able to suit your needs.

The fittings ARE included. We just have to know what you need.

The boost controller will come to you in a stealth anodized black with the marks for your adjustment, knurled end and with the Buschur Racing logo etched in. Hose and instructions are also included.

how does this one compare to Hallman's?

 

Better boost holding? Less taper? More precise? No boost change with weather? Please let us know!

 

I haven't run or sold a Hallman controller in probably close to 4 years. I have no comparison.

My personal opinion is this and our standard unit with the regular hose barb built in are the best manual boost controllers I have ever used and I have probably used them all.

The time we put into the stainless steel spring and ceramic ball suppliers has really paid off as these are extremely accurate. If you look at the controller you will see there is an arrow under the Buschur Racing logo. The arrow has two purposes, one to tell you the direction of airflow through the controller and the other is for reference to adjust the controller. On the other side you will notice a line, there are four lines, each one will give you 1 psi of boost increase.

This controller will control boost from about 2 psi over your waste gate pressure to 50+ psi. No need to change springs or anything else, just adjust the controller.

I can use these on our dual stage controller too so you can use any barb size or angle.

If you want to use AN fittings for all your boost lines that is now possible to, just install 1/8th NPT to AN fittings on the ends.

 

Nice to know... having approx boost reference per line is very helpful. There is nothing worse making 1 turn on a MBC and getting no gain or on some getting 10lbs more..

also, having the 1/8th npt makes it nice for the AN lines or the vibrant style plastic boost lines..

 

These controllers are the best... NOT just cause its a Buschur product but cause of the 4 lines engraved in the peice, and everytime you line 1 line up with the other you know you either went +1psi or -1psi. 1 full turn is 4psi
