Solid ACD Lights -- Targeting problem
I have the same problem without me knowing it, until a friend of mine pointed at that we have similar problem. He actually took his car to 2 dealerships here in illinois last week. First dealership he went to asked him all about his mods and charging him $110/hr just to diagnose the car...so he left and went to this other dealership (Biggers Mitsubishi/Elgin) and checked his car with no appointment necessary and didn't ask him about his mods...they diagnosed it and all they say is they have to change the ACD pump and his car.s still under warranty...
You can manually diagnose the trouble code. Simply when the 3 lights come one, take a wire and put it into pin 1 of the OBD connector (top left) and ground it. Count the amount of times the light blinks and it will give a code.
It happened to my VII a year ago. Changing a new one cost too much while a re-conditioned unit make me worry it won't last long too. I end up replace my rear AYC with Cusco LSD while another VII from friend of mine swap VII RS rear LSD with his GSR.
Sometimes mechanical part is easier to fix than eletronic control device

zedevo i tried to pm but it said you dont take them.all 3 o f my acd lights come on after you drive the car a few feet.its been like that since i got the car about 6 mos ago.the question i have is about abs and turning it off and on.my abs light is not on but my abs does not work (slam on the brakes the car slides) how do you turn it on and off.by the way my acd pump sounds like it is working but there is no fluid in the acd reservoir.my car was modded when i got it so all these problems i have had with it came with the car.i have been fixing them a little at a time.the car has had a shepracing tranny and transfer case and i think maybe the acd t/c was replaced with a non acd unit.car runs fine but the t/c howls like a rabid werewolf.i will probably replace it or try to send it back to shep for a check up.
