Solid ACD Lights -- Targeting problem

Well for the past few days, my ACD lights have been lit up, so I went to the dealership. They wany $80 to pull the code...

So I'm trying to target figure out what the problem is here. These are the things I've done to check.

-The ACD pump does turn on when the car is turned on, and you can hear the pump working.
-Transfer case, rear dif, and tranny just had their oil changed.
-The fluid level is perfect

This started happening after an intake and brake rotors were installed. Any ideas? I think one of my tires needs to be ballanced because the car dies vibrate a tinny bit at around 70-80MPH. Could this cause the ACD lights?

Help, I don't really want the dealship touching my car, and ripping me a new one.

There are soo many things that can affect the ACD. Its connected to alot of things. I have heard various solutions... ABS sensors, G sensors, and alot more.

Here is my thread: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=210199

Mine was replaced twice under warranty. good luck.

Do some searching

Yeah, I did read through all that, sucks that the acd code cant be pulled with a regualr scan tool. Oh well...

My car i still under warranty, but if I bring it in I need to take the wheel, and suspension off. Will they void for a buschur TBE?

All my ACD lights turned on one day. So i took off the positive cable on the battery off for a couple hours (you dont really need to do it for that long, but i did.)
That took care it of it. It was 15,000 Miles ago and no probs. I really don't think this will fix your problem though, as your car does it randomly. Mine didn't. Good Luck.

Every dealer is different... I dont think they can say much about the exhaust/suspension when they are working on the ACD. I would put the stock wheels on to avoid any BS from them. They may make note about the mods on the car though.... Once again, every dealer is different

I took mine in with suspension and some bolt ons, they gave me some **** about it at first, so I took everything off. They then fixed the car. Second time they just fixed it as they did the first time, but I did not return the car to stock this time.

Check your abs wires and sensors. I had the same problem. My left rear abs wire was warn through from coming in contact with the rim. Something could have happened to the wires on yours during your rotor work. Good luck.

i've been having a very similar issue with mine. started a few days ago when what seemed to be tight radius 180 degree or more turns. more so when turning left. i first thought it might be a speed sensor and lately once it's hot enough it will eventually come on regardless even if i avoid making tight turns. which i'm afraid would lead more to a pump. it seems that it is drawing a little more fluid than it used to when the pump starts working and it goes just barely below the min, let the fluid return back up after shutting it off and it's just barely above the max. i'm gonna have to do some creative mod-lies and make the car look stock-ish because i can definitely see them throwing a fit about the huge aftermarket downpipe and testpipe right by the acd unit causing the problem.

has anybody had any luck diagnosing the three lights without a mitsu scanner? i know somebody was beginning to make progress using evoscan but never heard much more about it. i'm also curious to know if the acd system has the ability to store fault codes so that the lights dont have to be indicating a fault to diagnose the issue.

Just remove the damn thing lol.....Everytime I launch, and this thing kicks in, it draws mad voltage according to AEM logs....volts go from 14.5-14.7 volts all the way down to 10-11 volts!! That system presents a huge strain on the electric system and if you drag race like me, it is useless.
