Turbo choice
Turbo choice
Alright heres what im lookin for....I wanna get outa my evo around 450-500 hp with the support mods i already have what would be the best choice turbo that can get me that power but with the least amount of turbo lag? And where could i get the kit for the best price? Its kinda hard doing this from Iraq so i need some help. Thanks
50 Trim... or GT3071R
If you want spool before 4000rpm, otherwise GT3076R but its a on or off type of Turbo when it comes onto boost it Comes on hard and more exponetial than the linear way a 50 Trim builds boost...

Wow! No one said hta35r and forget the rest yet lol
Checl out the ets line of kits, and talk to ets tom, he is more then happy to discuss the pros and cons of turbo choice and to get you exactly what you want!

What type of fuel/boost pressure level are you planning for those power goals? What type of driving do you use your EVO for primarily, and how would you like the powerband to feel? Shoot me a PM or E-mail to tom@extremeturbosystems.com if you'd like to discuss since you're overseas! BTW, any ETS product you purchase will be available with a 10% discount with a scanned/E-mailed or faxed copy of your current military ID

^^ just pointing out I wasn't recomending the HTA35R...just poking fun in the fact that every single thread about turbo's lately people blindly suggest the 35R as apparently the only choice for a turbo out there. It seems like you either stay "stockish" with a green, or you get the HTA35 with no regards to what the poster is looking for, and as if there are no other options out there.
