Any Used Muse Ported Manifold?

Ok, I am thinking about getting the Muse Evo Exhaust manifold that has been ported for about $110. Has anyone bought one and know if it's good or should I just pass it??? By the way, it's from eBay.

^^^ you have been trying to sell it for about 8 months now. To the OP no it is not good. The ports on the turbo side have not been touched as you can see doesn't match up to the gasket in the pics. The inside finish looks horrible with craters all over the place which allows carbon deposits to build up. Talk to 4WS about ported manifolds.

I was actually in trouble with the mods for selling multiples on the forums. It wasn't just 1 that sold over the course of 8 months

There are prob a couple dozen guys on this board running the manifold.

Either way, take what RevMoto says with a grain of salt, he's clearly known as the asshat of these forums and he just got his *** chewed out by buschur, ppi and indy regarding the topic of "gasket matched" porting.

The muse manifold is port matched, just as buschur's is along with ppi's.

Thank for getting my back. tvieira24 don't get all upset because I shot down a product you like. I have not been told off by those vendors. You can choose a side. This is a public forum so you are entitled to your opinion. For the record I port match also. But back on topic, yes the MUSE manifold is port matched but as I stated they did not finish the job. Thanks to your pics you have showed us how the manifold lacks compared to our evom companies. Anytime you want to put that MUSE manifold up to a comparison against one that is done right you let me know.

It's cute that you have to defend your girlfriend but he's a big boy and can fight his own battles Just because you're ignorant on the subject doesn't mean you should but blind faith into someone who's flaud concept of fluid dynamics goes against AND has been shot down by more experienced members on this board such as Dave B.

Either way, both manifolds don't fall under the same category. The muse manifold is a manifold that was ported then cast opposed to where buschur and PPI are ported after a manifold has been cast. The buschur and ppi option are clearly going to be smoother inside due to the fact that they are not in their cast state.

Claiming the manifolds runners and collectors aren't ported is clearly incorrect if and proves you've never compared a well ported manifold to a same muse manifold.

Rev,

Just because you remove 90% of the material everywhere on your half *** ported manifolds doesn't mean they are superior to people who have perfected the art AND know what makes proven power. Acting like an ******* in every thread is a poor way to advertise your porting services.

I have used it and have since gone w/ a megan tubular, but when i got mine from tvieira24 it was alot better than stock and I had none of these probs that other people are saying they have seen, but this was just one mine of course. I cant speak for other people. I only ran mine for a month or so, but I could tell a difference over my bone stock manifold, if that helps? Just buy a Megan tubular or something or buy this and port it.

ahahaha alright buddy. Just sounds like you are trying to defend a product. Love your insults but you lack the knowledge to defend yourself. I am glad you can add fluid dynamics into the conversation but until you have actually taken it don't sit on here and pretend you are an engineering major. I have said before how gasket matching is not the proper way but it has no ill affects on the evo. Also saying it is still in cast form is ridiculous. In order for a port to be complete it needs to be properly sanded down. Check your pictures on the turbo to manifold gasket as you showed us that material still needs to be removed. Again I do not gasket match. I have done some in the beginning and actually took the time to compare. You sell incomplete manifolds and until you can prove they actually make power then keep talking ****.
