your right, sry. profec e-01 is the one that has the rpm stuff. no experience with either profec.

I have heard of people running like 5-9 as the CrP, I really don't see how this can help when the spring is what 11.5?
I think I ended up somewhere around 7.3-8.5 or so with 62 cold 64 hot. Have you accessed the peak hold feature or are you eyeballing the spike?

The spring pressure used to be called GAE crack pressure. This value according to AEM is supposed to be when the wastegate starts to open. 11.5-12psi is when the gate is fully open and the turbo is full spool. There are instructions on the AEM method of determining crack pressure which is why people have the numbers they do.

Of course I access the Peak hold and clear it everytime I am adjusting. I bet you are hurting your spool and I can't tell you why you are spiking so high. My setup feels great at 11.

Another option, although much more pricey, is the Turbosmart e-Boost 2. It is a gauge style, and uses an AEM style solenoid. It can hold up to 6 boost maps, and can be wired in to control vs. RPM. You can set a boost point for every 500 rpm point, and it interpolates between the points. . .

You can use this feature to spool quickly without a large boost spike, while still holding well at higher RPM. . .

Sounds like a good setup.

Redline, I bet I wasnt, and I wasnt because I was using the setttings that were right for my car. Engines, turbos, and aftermarket parts vary some from car to car, that's why things are adjustable, not to mention different temps and altitudes.

Link to AEM's instructions on setting up truboost crack pressure. If your happy with your settings .

Also, should be noted. I control the solenoid with my ECU now. I have rpm dependent control and closed loop correction abilities.
