Several vendors have been making these for some time now. One is MPFab.com

Those appear to be modified eBay 02 housings. The Evopowermods version makes a complete divorse, a custom unit with a tube right off the wastegate which seems to be the best for flow.

no, they made it 2.5 so that it could meet up with all downpipes.

I can't remember exactly, but I think they tested it back to back with their ported stocker O-2, but they didn't get any gains from it. I'm not sure what design they used, I remember reading about it a year ago from a thread that was 2-3 years prior, but I will say first hand that this piece makes power because it will create boost sooner, holds it longer, and makes it smoother... period!

I guess it's the design EvoPowerMods took their time researching and making...

I'm sorry but your wrong about this. Once the Ebay housing is modified for external dump, the wastegate exhaust gasses are never reintroduced back into the the turbine exhaust stream. They are completely "divorced"

I noticed that too a while back... for DSM's of course... I always wondered why they never made one for the evo.

Hopefully I can sell my BR ported/coated stocker so I can pick one of these up

Depends on the gasket used. If you use an OEM gasket, it is open in the center and you will most certainly have leakage between the exhaust and the wastegate exit if you modify the Megan 02 into a dump. If you use the Megan gasket which divides the 02 housing then yes it will be divided but it DOES NOT have a straight shot out, it has to flow though the housing then curve out, not like the Evopowermods 02 where it is a dedicated 2" pipe right out.

Ok, I just got my 02 Dump on. WOT, it is LOUD, find an underpass and make the person next to you **** uncontrollably. Driving normally it is silent as advertised. Spirited driving you get a partial opening so you get some noise, nothing serious. Going from the Megan 02 to the dump didn't change boost much but then again it is 88 degrees.

Installation is tough due to the 5 bolts that just are a pain in the ***. One snapped so I only have 4 bolts but it seems to be fine. The proper way to get this thing on is to remove your radiator so you have more room. You may have to move your A/C compressor to slide it in then put it back which is fine, no biggy. It fits fine, clears everything and you only have to cut a small "U" in the undertray to put it on.

I like it, loud and lets everyone know that you are there.

I will have Video in a week or so.
