For those planning on this mod a retune should be in order. My A/F's leaned out and I had to add some fuel. Definately more flow with this piece and I had a 3.0" turbo back. This mod makes power for sure, loving the noise it makes too. Every overpass is a welcome treat for me.

I had knock as well, so it was a measured flow increase.

I got my piece in today and holy ****, the power was definitely there, but I lowered my boost until I get retuned in a week or so. The boost didn't increase from it, but it definitely held a lot longer from before.

A bit of this seems to be well orchestrated advertising puffery! "Spoolup was vastly improved", compared to what? 10-14 HP compared to what? Was the baseline car stock, with factory O2 elbow? "Across the revzone"? What's that?

I don't buy the part about spoolup being "vastly improved" either. In fact, I don't see a WG dump cooling the charge air temps. Sounds great but I don't buy this package of Pablum.

Not that I know of but then again I went from an Ebay 02 housing which added spool to begine with. AFAIK it adds no lag which is far more important.

Don't buy it then. No one is convincing u to buy it. I bought one and not complaining about it.

So, explain to me how an O2 dump will "vastly" improve low end power and spoolup. Just the act of you purchasing an item doesn't substantiate some of the claims being made by the manufacturer. How does an O2 dump reduce charge air temps anyway? And if so, by how many degrees? I don't actually doubt the veracity of your claims. But, I was just wondering.

I believe the 10-14 whp gain. This is nothing new. Been around forever and just now has caught the attention of evo masses. By separating the exhaust and wastegate gasses into 2, there is less turbulence and backpressure. Both of which are bad when it comes to a turbocharged engine. I dont know about it cooling the air charge, but anytime a engine becomes more efficient, there is less losses from heat and such.

That's the best way I can explain it, through my tuner.
