FP Green, you can keep everything stock and just change out the turbo. Just need injectors and a tune.

If I had to do it over, I would just buy a turbo kit. Look at a 50trim or 30R. AMS, BR or ETS. Can't go wrong.

What r your hp goals for the future? The reason I ask is, because dont buy a small turbo and down the line buy another, go with the gt35r.

yea the gt35r is probaly the best bet.

Its decent on the stock block, yet even better with a built block and race gas.

Its a good all around setup

+1 on this, I have this setup and have been running in the high 400whp range for a long time now (50+K miles). Finally cranked the timing up to see if I can hit a 10 and now at 550whp. I am using E85, so if you have meth injection, I am not sure how much you can push it.

depends on your goals. if you're not looking to be a HP beast, then it might be best to get a FP Green or a 30r

I am actually curious to know how many guys have these small TS setups with the T3 .78 housings:
TS 50 Trim
or
TS GT3071R

Besides the money and the FP Green, by virtue that this setup can flow more exhaust gasses than the Stock Mitsu 10.5 TS housing it should make either one an awsome setup for the stock 2L motor...

I read elsewhere that either one of these would be the ultimate Auto-X and street setup...

Got any dynosheets?

thanks

But how much loss of spoolup are you willing to live with? Anything larger than a FP Green, and you will start to see significant (i.e. >500 RPM) loss in spoolup. IMO, anything larger than a 3076 on a stock engine is a waste of time. The next step up would be an HTA35R, but I wouldn't run that without at least putting in a better valve train and raising my redline to 8000 RPM.

Do you want lag? Do you want to eventually build the engine? What are you doin with the car?

A lot of people these days say just jump head first into a 35R. I think this may be a bit much. I think its useless to install a 35R without a built engine or plans to do so to only hit low to mid 450's. You're not using that turbo anywhere near its limits. You're getting all the lag tho, that's for sure!

I have to agree with Warr on this, green or 50 trim will easily hit your goals and be very good use of those turbos. Maybe even the 3076. If you go with the 30R, you always have the option of going with a larger 35 or even bigger down the road if you choose by just swapping turbos

I'm going to surmise that a HTA35R will hit something like 23 psi anywhere from 4100 - 4800 RPM. A lot of that will depend on your cams, intake manifold, etc. I have no experience with your cams, so it's anyone's guess, really.
