I thought you said you "triple checked" your routing? (unless of course you're "bottom" and "side" are reversed from what is normally described)

I'm at work right now so I'm going off memory, the only way I would have them backwards is if I did that when I took it apart to clean and lube it. I'll check at lunch

Sounds to me like the lines are reversed as well, the bottom nipple is the boost source inlet from the turbo, and side nipple is the outlet to the actuator.

If that doesn't work, then maybe your vacuum lines has a leak somewhere that only shows up under some pressure, causing the spiking. Change them.

Yeah I must have switched them around after I cleaned the whole thing out. Stupid mistake. Still that forge was causing huge issues. I still think i have a boost leak because at around 15 psi it feels like it's dead...may be the tune is off too.

Anyways I think it's working alright now.
