do they look similar? i am heavily sedated right now......valium, codine & predisone....next, a cape cod.
Aby, they look the same with the exception were it's bronze on the Crane, it's silver on my.
My question is, if I send the cams to you, can you find out what lift they are, and are they safe to be installed into my car?

Sitting here at the shop we broke out the HKS cams for comparison, and by no stretch of the imagination is this an HKS cam, and there are no "old school" HKS cams, they all have that certain look, and have always looked that way. There not cranes or BC's either.

I think I know what the cams are...OBX from ebay...talk about getting kicked in the nuts.

When I saved the image off ebay...it's named 10885...the same sticker I found on the bag that one of the cams was in.

known for cheaply made. Not really a trustworthy company especially with engine components

Wow, that's just awesome, OBX cams. I hate that there are so many flakes on this board. This dude prolly listed them as HKS cause he knows that no one would buy OBX cams on this board.

Well...thanks to all of your guys. I got my refund. I really appreciate all who shared pictures and inputs.
Remember...when a deal sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Ask questions before buying something....learn from my mistake.

if your willing to send them to me & I can still check them out on the cam doctor for $hits & grins, what else are you going to do with them besides bash them over the guys skull when you meet up with him.

At least you'll have a better idea of what your bludgioning the guy with!!

it's a shame that there are so many theives on these boards......just remeber, karma will catch up with him...may not give you the piece of mind / satisfaction your after right now, but his time will come.

looking at the specs that are provided by obx forthe cams, they are most likely hks knock off's......try & get your money back & move forward....if your interetedin some new cosi evo 8 m2's cams, i may have a set coming in the nxt few weeks.

Aby, I want to especially thank you for offering to throw these cams on the cam doctor for me.
I'm sending them back to him, loosing 30 bucks is a lot better than loosing a couple of hundred.
These Cosi M2 cams...will they work with stock springs and retainers? And how much are we looking at here? I'm about to get out of the military so I have to be on a budge...lol
