EVO 9 Cams
right so what are the best cams out there to run on a evo 9 with a stock turbo, maybe moving to a green at some point?? Would like to keep stock springs if possible!

I got the cosworth 272 mivec cams, upped the boost less than a half pound and gained 21 hp and 44 torque on the stock turbo. kept stock springs and retainers. They sound bad ***.

There are a few choices you have. BC's, GSC's, HKS's. I personally went with the Cosworth M2's and I'm loving them. Idle is almost stock and the car feels insane.

Thought on them when I had me EVO 8, dont you need springs to run them?? What about the GSC S1's??

Or the cossie 272's different from the M2's??

I think the cossie 272s are the m2s. not for sure though

The Cosworth M2's are the 272's. You don't have to upgrade your valvetrain according to Cosworth. I chose to upgrade my springs while I was there.

I have the Cosworth M2's. They are awesome. Jun cams seem to be very popular as well.
