Hey guys I need your input. I recently bought a Megan Tbe (new in box) and haven't had a chance to put it on yet. Well after seeing some pics of guys either selling theirs or seeing them on cars, I've noticed that mine doesn't look that the ones i see in the pics. But I was confident in what I was buying since the seller did have a very good sales rating. Now I'm not so sure. Here are pics of the exhaust.









I've already confirmed that this is not a megan downpipe at all regardless if its for a 8 or 9. But are the other pieces megan or did I get ripped off for some 3" Ebay exhaust?

 

The tip on that doesn't look like either of the Megan exhausts I've had...

But this particular line is funny, ironic-funny.

 

yeah I'm 99% sure this isn't megan at all. I just called them and they said all megan exhausts have megan racing etched on the tip. So what the hell exhaust is this then. Some cheap ebay crap?

thanks for confirmation. I just looked on ebay and this exhaust looks just like the ebay ones. Now question is whether or not I want to use this

 

Megan should have their brand name on the exhaust.

Def not a Megan. Megan's have the burnt tip, Megan racing etched on it. The downpipe has thick brackets, and also Megan racing tag welded on.

 

Contact the seller and tell him to make it right. I don't know where you bought it from (ebay, evom, etc.) but I know if you use paypal and you bought it through ebay you can file a claim that the part is significantly different than described.

Where did you buy the exhaust? Is it off a member here? If so let everyone know so nobody else gets ripped off. And if I were you, I'd be filing a claim to get my money back. Package it back up and send it back.

some people love their ebay exhausts. as long as u paid what that sells for on ebay or less just try it out.

 

Thats eBay for sure, Megan has their logo engraved in the tip.
