I ordered my S1s from JSC Speed this week and was informed that it would take about two weeks to get them. Does this mean that this new change will be on those?

Will the IX cams be updated as well? I have some FP4R's back-ordered (I've heard as little as 3 weeks to as much as 2 months). Which IX cam of yours is the most comparable to those? My goal is to max out my stock IX turbo.

i wont go any higher on the ramp flank or lift of the 9 cam do to the stock spring and the S1 is ment for stock spring so it wont change...

I'm affriad that same BO that FP is feeling is going to hit us very very soon. our S1 evo 9 cams are already on back order and the s2 camshafts are very low on stock... when will we have more ready is a good question, the foundary "forgot" to run the 9 cores and are giving us no eta as to when they can squize them in... funny how they can get 300 brand new evo 10 cores out the door but forget the evo 9s..

as far as a comparable cam to the fp4r our S2 mivec cam has higher lift, more duration and more duration at 1mm. the CL of the exhaust cam is much different than ours.. so as far as close the S2 is the closest thing GSC has and it is avalible right now. the S2 cam does need to run on an upgraded spring.

Given that a lot of Evo 8 reflashes set fuel cut to 7800RPM, do you think it's wise to release a cam that is only safe to 7600RPM?

So turn it back down to 7600 then It takes about 20 seconds to do with ECUFlash + a Tactrix cable.

Thanks for all the info Greg! If for some reason things don't work out with the 4R's I'll chase down some S2's.

You and I might know that, but what about the majority of Evo owners? Just pointing this out to Greg, so that he can at least ship a BIG RED WARNING label with the cam ...

Most places you order VIII cams from say they're just drop shipped from you guys. Do you have them around or is there a slight back log to fill first? Just curious...I'll be placing my order tomorrow hopefully and was just curious as to a time frame if they're coming right from you.

that is the advertised limit we put on them, and we always have a safty net . sure people will take them higher and there shouldnt be an issue with it, just have to cover our bases with the old insurance man...

Some stock them, some dropship. the new ones will have to come direct from us first as they are not finished as of yet. gimmie a call if you want a set we would be happy to ship them out.

that's why HKS has higher lift on the intake camshaft. Wow, your lift is 11mm, even higher than HKS.

Your cams are so popular all the vendors have pricing all over the place! Although you guys are the originators, looking around in the Vendor For Sale section you can pick them up cheaper than what is on your website. No offense at all...I just can't pass up saving some money, ha. My order will be coming through ASAP.

Just to clarify, any order placed from here out for S1's will be the new intake cam?
