AMS Base Flash

Hey guys long time reader first time poster!haha I was wondering if anyone can tell me what kind of HP gains I could be expecting from an AMS base flash. The only upgrade I have is a K&N drop-in intake

Great to have you joining the community. I suggest that you check out the Newbie forums for a lot of information regarding your question.

A quick summary of your gains by getting a flash and boost controller to stabilize boost:

Your EVO runs very rich from the factory (9.5:1) under heavy load/acceleration, by modifing your AFRs (Air/Fuel Ratios) to a leaner and safe AFR (11:1), you can gain power. Usually 20-30hp depending on mods, fuel used and type of tune.

Check out some other threads around here for some useful tips.
