Quote: mellonm i think i'm going for the S1's although the S2's are awesome as well. it's such a hard decision!

now were the S1's lopey at all?
The s1's have a very mild lope and the car never stalled. Great driveability. The S2's have a big lope...there's no hiding it

nice increase. So brad has S2's on the stock turbo? What boost level? He also upgraded springs/retainers...

Day 2 and can't keep from smiling, I'm signing off and go and drive the car. I am sure Chris can give more info, but the whp gains came from a combination of factors, timing adjustment, boost increase, and fuel adjustment. The car feels so much stronger and the top is actually there, unlike the stockers. The cams are a great power mod, also, for the sound, if you want lope it can definately be there. Before the tune it loped like a big cam, Chris was able to mellow it out for me, I like a " sleeper " sound. The road tune will be the best bet to maximize performance for anyone. It is the best way to maximize power for the mod level of your car. CALL MELLON!!!!!!!!!!

EVOEMS, nice gains - now go enjoy your car!

Mellon, nice tuning - I do have a question regarding the car's pre-cam power, though. Whose bolt-on Evo only makes 290whp on DLL? Seems like something else besides just some cams was going on in this case...

Also, I notice that the power curve is shifted somewhat to the right some for a stock turbo IX. Doesn't hit peak torque till 4500 or so. Seems to be a trade-off here of some low-end torque for more top-end... I guess this would be better for the drag strip.

Just my observations. 360whp on a stock turbo IX ain't too shabby

EVOEMS

Enjoy your "new" ride... you sound very happy. One question though, did you do the cam install yourself?

Chris

I will be installing my S1s this weekend, and will be looking for a update flash from you also. Will send a email when ready.
