Clutch Problem

I just recently had an exedy twin disk installed into my evo. Last night (about 1000 miles later) once I released the clutch when shifting it has started to make a grinding/whining noise...any ideas?

Well, I know that they have a grinding noise when releasing the clutch in first gear due to the interaction of the disks, but while shifting to other gears I have no clue.

I've ridden on several evos with exedy twin disk and I haven't notice any noise while shifting but it's better if you take an advice from someone who daily drives one. I'm installing mine next month so I'll update you with more info about it .

Only noise i'v ever had with my exedy twin is the slight rattling noise, which is pretty much normal. I think you should take it back to who ever installed it, at the end of the day the noise wasn't there before they put it in, so let them fix it...
Unless your taking your foot off the clutch to early or something... (not trying to offend you, but they can be a bi*ch to drive with if your not used to them)

Were you coasting when this happened or accelerating? If you were coasting, then you have nothing to worry about. BUT, if its when you have your foot on the gas, thats another story.

I was accelerating..not quickly..just driving normal.. when I was shifting, right before I got it into gear it would make the noise/feel... but it has gone away now so I guess I'm not going to worry about it..i have enough s*** w/ my evo right now lol
