Cosworth M2 Issue

I have a few friends working to install Cossie M2's on my Evo 9. They know what there doing but having an issue with the installation. They called me up and said that when they went to turn the intake cam it will not spin and that its getting stuck on one of the valves. Until he calls me back just wondering if any1 can chime in on this just so i know what can cause this issue. Or has anyone had this problem. The cams are brand new by the way. thanks in advance

Make sure the dowel pin is actually going into the hole, inside the cam gear.

Im not sure whats going on but the valves shouldnt be making contact to anything that will make it "stick"

that was stated wrong sorry bout that. the issue was like u said the dowel on the intake cam was too short. so the 500-600$ cams i bought are worthless right now until i get em fixed or have the time to ship em back to Cosworth
