I bought a new evo8 about 3 weeks a go. I just got done with a touch screen DVD player, mbq componts system with a kicker comp 12in sub, custom pod for my gages. I also did a custom neon kit inside as well as outside, and did the front grill with neon’s to. Lastly I painted the black hood vent red to match my car.

I would like to add a good amount of hp to my evo around 100 plus hp and i dont know were to start. I am looking to spend around 5,000 or less, and I would Appreciate any help in this are as to were to start.

All I got to say is ECU Extension Harnes, 3" turbo back, Apexi SAFC, AVCR , 272 cams, colder plugs, Forge BOV, Bigger intercooler and better intercooler piping then a Turbo timer if you don't have one already and a DYNO! That will be less than 5gs and you will be very pleased!

 

I would suggest you strengthen the internal parts. Stock engine are not as strong as you think. Especially crank and conrod bearings.

He wants to add 100HP...not have 600AWHP... Stock engine in the 8 (and every other dsm) has already proved to hold 500AWHP. Call Buschur racing...I just ordered my turboback from them.
