datalogging options?

I'm about to plunk down some change for a palm and the OBD II pocketlogger stuff from digitaltuning.com. I used the DSM version on my previous car and both the logger and the customer service was great. The logger deal is $175 and a palm is $75 or so, so it's a pretty cheap package.

I'm just wondering if there's something new out there that I don't know about and should. Anyone?

My AutoTap only gets about 8 samples per second. I'm fairly sure thats our limit.

samples / sec

Rollaway - what datalogger are you using? The pocketlogger site says Evo's are doing 19-20 samples/sec with their logger.
