im not going to lie, that thing looks like straight crap, there is absolutely no way i would EVER put that piece in my car, there are so many proven MBC's out there from reputable companies already established that ive gotta tell you man, dont be surprised if this thing flops.

Dave- that's why we're here to get feedback. I'm sure that if it was anodized instead of the rough sandblasted finish it would look better to everyone. But I'm looking for feedback on functionality.

So, what is it that doesn't look good to you?

Blue- haven't figured out pricing yet. But it can't be outlandish compared to what is on the market today. We'll probably have a part number that comes with all hoses and fittings, and also a bare bones unit.

Here's some pics of the latest revision. Some of the changes are as follows:
  • Shorter Body
  • A fitting for the bleed orifice

I don't think many people realize just how much air the bleed hole on an MBC bypasses the MAF. The reason why we have a dedicated fitting for the bleed orifice is so that you have the option to route that back after the MAF. You don't have to have a fitting on it, it can be left VTA.

This pic has our all-metal boost-connect fittings and hoses

This pic only has the fittings

I went by Synapse Engineering today, I'm on a buisness trip, and i have to tell you these guys are top notch. I went in to check out there BOV, and they showed me this MBC as well, he connected it to the Dyno and ran a test and it's very accurate. Thanks again guys. Jason.

just wanted to let you guys know that i am in process of testing this MBC on my car at this very moment. so far from tests we ran and the drive home the MBC was great. we set the base boost and than used the second knob to fine tune my boost. no issues, complaints of any sort. This MBC is doing just as it's supposed to with the ability to fine tune and cut my boost down if desired. i will be testing this for a little bit so feel free to ask any more questions. i will post up as much as i can for the review of it as i get more driving time in. but so far this is very very promising to me!

I have to conclude that there is nothing greater than being able to adjust an MBC in-cabin. 1 run and the boost is set, no pulling over and opening the hood, making an adjustment and then going again.

Joe, how long did it take us to dial in boost? Like 4 minutes?

I think it looks great. If it performs as mentioned I would definately be looking into getting one.

Will the final product come with the vacuum lines?

EVOIX- we shortened it by about 40% from the original pics.

Blue- there will be a kit with all lines and fittings included in the box.

I can't begin to tell you guys how much I hate pulling over->opening the hood->making an adjustment->do a pull->repeat

With the hard lines we will be making available with the kit, there is no spiking, so no issues having it in-cabin. We've tested this at ridiculous lengths, like 20 ft.

Oh so its going to be hard vacuum lines? Even better!

I'm doing the pull over method right now and that does suck.

The major "marketing" challenge that I'll see for us though is the 3rd fitting so that you can route the bleed back after the MAF just like the stock BCS does.

There's no MBC out right now that even addresses this. You don't have to hook up the bleed port to anything, but it is in the design in case anyone wants to use it.

Do you guys think we'll get tons of flack for, "what's the 3rd port for? There are tons of proven MBCs without them, you don't need it."
