Dave, when you dyno tested with the air/oil separator, was that the only change made to generate 637 whp 517 ft lbs? If I'm not mistaken this car was VTA before the air/oil remover was put on?
Maybe the vacuum eased pushing pressure out of the crank case hense making power from one less resistance on the motor.... For example the motor creates 2 psi of crankcase pressure and tries to push it out of the pcv's. We introduce a -1 psi of vacuum source, the resistance is reduced by half to which the motor has to push out. The motor still produces the same amount of blow by matter but half the energy is required to push it out. Hope it makes sense

Yes, it was the only change when I did it. I did it all on the dyno from start to finish.
Tomorrow if I can get time I want to rig up something to put a turbo inlet on the flow bench and then I am going to experiment with different lengths and angles to enter the turbo inlet with the return hose to try and create as much pull on the can as I can. It's 2 am and I can't sleep thinking about how I am going to set this up

no, there is no sensors on the PCV system.
also the fitting is not NPT (natonal pipe tap thread) its BSPT which is british.
if u try to use an 1/8" 1/4" npt it will start to thread then stop. do not force it in u will **** up the threads.

I started on the 2nd can today. It is going to take hours to build one of these so I cheated and made a phone call. I ordered some parts and they should be laser cut and finished by Wednesday. IF that is the case everything should be ready to go this week or early next week.
The cans will be 100% 304 grade SS. Pricing still has not been worked on at all. When I get this 2nd unit done I will post pictures of it mounted on my car.
The can has to mount on the passenger side of the car. That makes for a long hose running back to the turbo. I am thinking I could make this just a catch can for anyone not wanting to run it back into the turbo. This would still allow all the oil to be re-turned to the crankcase. Any interest in this? I could go one step further and add the top port along with a vent and this would allow the factory PCV to be hooked back up. Doing this would put a good draw on the crank case and yet keep all the oil out of the intake manifold.

I should have a finished product tomorrow. The parts are suppose to be done at the laser cutter in the morning. I have everything else cut, just needs welded and buffed and then a bracket figured out to mount it.
Today we ran my car at the Import Showoff event here at D42. Won the event. Slowest pass of the day was a 9.7, quickest was 9.54. Track conditions were pretty poor. The car made atleast 6 passes, most of which had MPH in the 155 range and a new best of 155.78.
I pulled the hose off the catch can going to the inlet of the turbo, 100% completely BONE dry of any oil or residue.

I'm pretty sure this has merely turned into a discussion on crankcase ventilation. Not a thread trying to advertise for others. Just because somebody else makes a pretty kick *** setup and somebody uses it as a reference does not mean they are advertising for the company.
Isn't advertising for the vendor sections anyway and the tech sections are for technical discussions?
We all realize how fast your car is. That does not mean you have the best PCV system out there.

I don't think somebody's word should be taken as gossible simply because of their accomplishments.

The guy that made that catch can I linked to has built some cars just as impressive as David has. Hell, his personal car runs 9.2s in a street class and it's FWD. He obviously knows a thing or two about building fast cars too.
