like stated above, fuel pump is cheap insurance and its only 100 bucks, get both and get tuned right
How are you people missing the point. If getting both right now was an option would this poll be up? NO. Its only $85 yeah but $85 on top of the $1500 Iv already spent, the $3k down payment on the car and the money I have to spend to drive across the country, pay for a hotle, buy food, pay for entertainment, ect.

I just wanted to know if you people had to pick between FP or Cams what would you go with? Also I was thinking of just gettign the Fuel pump now and getting more aggressive cams later on. Its really a simple poll that people arnt answering simply.

And its going to Buschur Racing to be tuned so Im pretty sure itll be tuned right.

youre wasting your time getting cams with no fuel pump. with more aggressive cams, you will need to get a better fuel pump. stock can handle cams, but i wouldnt recommend it. cams give you more torque. not really horsepower. fuel pump you can open your fuel up and get some timing in for some hp....

just my .02 tho.

many will either agree or disagree

Thanks thats the kinda info I was looking for. I wasn't sure if I could even run the cams without getting the pump. But since they were only 264's though it might not be an issue. Plus everyone talks about how rich the Evos run stock so wasn't sure.

but i have to agree with some, if you were to get both, id take the A$* chewing and have the best of both worlds.... but if you are already thinking of getting more aggressive cams later, all good things come to those who wait.... when it comes to my car, i can never wait tho

cams wont really take away the DD feeling, you will just have more torque and high end power... like i said i personally would go with the fuel pump... but your best bet would be ask mr buschur himself. he is a very good guy and knows the 4g63t in and out. another option would be ask the mastermind who will be tuning you.

Why do you have to take it BR to get tuned? You live in KC right? Take it to Chad at Modified By KC. Believe me, those guys know their ish when it comes to evo's. It would probably be cheaper too. I am new to evo's myself (having just purchased a mean one), but upgrading the fuel pump first in anticipation of more mods is always a good idea no matter what you drive. Oh, and when you go down to Modified's shop, take a look at their 800hp monster! Sick!

Well MKC was an option but I have orders to Fort Gordon, GA for April of 09.

And David from BR really took care of me on some things so hes got a loyal customer. Only 8 hour drive from GA.

I considered TTP also but like I said BR has taken care of me so far, and I'm a big believer in customer patronage.
