Cams or Fuel pump?

I'm going on leave in a few days and en route back to Kansas from CT I'm stopping off at Buschur Racing to get their TBE exhaust put on and a tune.

Im a little limited on my funds right now due to the cost of going on leave and Im trying to figure out what I should do, I found a set of GSC 264 cams for a great deal off one of the members here, but if I get the cams I cant afford the Fuel pump.

As it stands Ill have the K&N Filter with MAF adapter, Hallman Pro MBC, and the BR TBE.

So should I get the Fuel pump and worry about the cams later, get the cams and get the fuel pump later or just wait and get both later and go back to BR for a tune at a later date.

get the cams and worry about the fuel pump later...i believe the stop fuel pump is good to about 350-400 hp.....on top of the fact that the fuel pump is an easy drop in!

Are u ****ing serious dude? A fuel pump is like 80 bucks. If you are stressing that, maybe you should save your cash for something you need.

Yeah fuel pump is $85 but if I get the cams AND by the fuel pump the wife is gonna go hell raiser on me.

Shes cool with the $85 since i don't even have the car yet and have spent almost $1500 already on it...the cams she will have a problem with but damage control is a lot easier if I didn't get the fuel pump instead you know what I mean?

She wont really care that much about the noise, its just the money situation and its really only because she wants to make sure we have enough for leave lol

Fuel pump is the first mod you should do. Its cheap, easy to install, could save a motor. If you're worried that your wife is going to complain about the whine, she will complain more when the motor goes BOOM from the stock fuel pump.

Well yeah I could obviously just get both and deal with it, but my question is should I just get the fuel pump and wait to get more aggressive cams
