what else should i do???

hey all! mods are in the sig and i've been wondering...

when i get back from iraq, i need to finish my build on the engine side.

i was wondering, if i decide to go with FR twin scroll 35r turbo kit, what else will i really need?

im not really looking to max the set up out but would like room to grow in the future. this is a pump gas/oem ecu daily driver and would like opinions on the little extras that are needed in having an efficient reliable set up. i would like to participate in the occasional track day...not a big fan of straight lines.

i know i'll need a boost controller but there are so many otions out there. what would you recommend? what about uprated an fuel pump? injectors? i may go meth injection but i'm on the fence with that.

suggestions? i'll take any and all as i know there is a wealth of knowledge out here. i've done the searching but thought your opinion based on my set up and goals would be more beneficial. if it were your car how would you do it?

Short list:
Intake unless FR includes one
Injectors
Fuel Pump
Boost Controller
FMIC for that higher psi
Tune!

actually i do have an intake...COBB

do you think i'd max out my stock injectors and pump between 450 and 500 hp?

Boost Controller: so many choices out there. Leaning towards a Blitz, what recommendations do you have?

FMIC comes with FR kit.

Tune is a definite.

Boost controller:
Many choices out there but if it wasn't an expense issue for me i'd get a nice electronic one so it could be easily controlled without a boost spike. If expense is an issue the MBC in my sig is working FYI.

Injectors:
560cc isn't a whole lot of room on a 35r.. in fact i'd seriously doubt you could go past 20psi on 91 octane without overrunning them. Thats not safe and when a set of injectors is just 300 bucks away on buschurs website i think its foolish not to upgrade. You probably wont max out a set of 780cc injectors but 880cc is a nice safe point on pump fuel.

Other thoughts:
You know i forgot to mention getting a pair of cams. Stock cams will actually hinder spool up on a 35r not to mention hurt top end performance which a 35r is all about :P.

haha...got commissioned with tons of years in. deployments dont hurt either.

as for the cams...i got HKS 272s...i didnt want anything too radical for a DD.

great suggestion for the injectors. i'll defo get them. will i need a walbro to to support that flow?

this is the first time i've heavily modified a car and i wanna make sure im hitting the all the bases with out going overboard on parts. like im pretty sure i wont need a ruel rail so i dont really want to spend the money on it now. maybe later.

Absolutely you should get a fuel pump.

You right on the fuel rail it doesn't really help until like 600whp or so its been claimed. I think you'd be surprised how radical of a cam you can run even with a stock ecu just needs the right touch by a tuner.
