I'm thinking your best bet is to buy ~73 gallons of gas (@ 4.09/gal of reg.), wait till the end of the year. Then create a new post titled "Got about $600, what should next mod be?"

you were quick on the defense so did you get touched as well? A driver mod is not a bad suggestion at all as in a HPDE event will do you plenty good. FWIW, the IX fuel pump flows only 7% more than the VIII's so upgrade it just to be safe.

yep, it's on the modding for dummies that the stock fuel pump is good for up to 350 hp which I don't plan going over.

So no need upgrading the fuel pump on a IX if you are staying under 350 right?

Fuel pump is $80 bux. A small price to pay for insurance. Spend the money and you will be safe for well over 350hp. MBC is $75 bux. Add a tune for like $150-200 and be happy with all the new power!

don't know lol, that's what the guy said on the modding for dummies section.. but it's something I still may do, Mellon said it would be a good idea, so i'll likely do what he suggests.

Wow...Im glad I didn't let evom decide my mod path.....I have 20g's what should I do next....Their is sooooooo much good info on this site if you just search a little. Countless threads of people just starting out and what mod path to take.

And you started the thread so telling people to stay out or they were sexually assaulted by their parents is super cool btw.
